15.9.2012
Kinyongia boehmei hatched - from seven eggs came 7 youngs. This species looks very hard in captivity, not so sensitive regarding to the night temperature drop ( must not to be so high ) and also only one from all our Kenya species which is able to be kept in glass vivaria (Trioceros species only flexaria or really big air condition on vivaria ).

5.9.2012
Bearded pygmy chameleon - Rieppeleon brevicaudatus hatched.
This species is doing very well by us, only through the summer holidays we got from our breeding 4,8 more than 30 hatchlings.

We hope that we will be able to establish good breeding group, regarding to the banned import from Tanzania are CB animals in this time only one possibility how to get these nice ground chameleons.

4.9.2012

After a relatively long gravidity gave finally birth our female of Jacksons three horn chameleon - Trioceros jacksonii jacksonii " Willegensis ".
Why it took so much time we understood by counting of yougs, final number was 26 !!!
Its till now the biggest one number of youngs by this species by us, until now we got always between 12-16 youngs.
However, all looks very well and are regarding to the number also surprisingly big.
As always by this species, only few hours after birth ate the youngs their first prey, fruit flies.

Hopefully will the keeping work with not any problems, our breeders ( two males and four females ) are by us absolutely problem-free animals with no special requirements.
Pictures of adults as well as young you can see bellow.

12.8.2012
Big surprise by one of our breeding female Fat Tailed Gerbil, Pachyuromys duprasi.Female has two almost independent youngs in nest which still suck the milk. The female was more than one month separated from other adults and regardless, today she gave birth to other four youngs, which were found in the same nest. Most likely it goes about sperm retention from last mating for later fertilization. It is already F4 generation of this species and all the time succesfuly bred.

11.8.2012
Today a little bit another story :-)
We participated with our doggie Falco on County exhibition of dogs in Kladno. It was our first and regarding to our workload on weekends most probably for long time last show.
We had not any ambitions, there were more than 20 dogs of our breed and Falco was as ten month old the youngest one.
The main reason for our presence was to register Falco as stud dog. But the show came beyond our expectations well and we came home with victory in all categories where participating ( BOJ, CAJC, BOB ) and of course V1.
Only one thing, which finally doesnot worked was the stud register, we have to wait till will be Falco one year old.We plan to buy one female friend as Christmass gift for him, meanwhile we are looking for the best one for him:-)
For everybody not able to recognize the breed from pictures, it goes about Bolonka Zwetnaya, relatively new recognised russian breed formelly known as Coloured Bolognese.
